Hello everyone, I have found some where local I can pay to have private T3 testing done, what do you think? Is it a good price/company, has anyone else used them?

Thank you Louise that is interesting, I think I have looked before but could not find some where local to me, I wonder if the discount applies at the one I put link for, they are offering to waive the medical fee if booked before the end of the month, I doubt they offer both lol!
Just for info...
The website you have linked to is (I think) run by Blue Horizon Medicals. They have another website which (confusingly to me) is privatebloodtests.co.uk (i.e. not .com) and that does a similar type of thing to the site you linked but with Spire Hospitals, not Nuffield.
They also have the following websites that I know of - there could be others :
homebloodtests.co.uk
homebloodtest.co.uk
bluehorizonmedicals.co.uk
I should have mentioned...
I've used the website for tests done by Spire Hospitals in association with Blue Horizon and I was perfectly happy with the service.
If they are all similar prices and service I will always pick the closest as I hate to travel and have a son and pets to consider.
Thank you for all the info humanbean much appreciated
I hope you are not missing that the homebloodtests site offers many tests which don't require to travel further than the nearest post box? (And you might even persuade someone to do that for you if you are lucky!)

But who draws the blood, I am into diy but that is a step further than I am willing to take lol!
You do! But it is with a finger-prick device (they supply). Most people find it very easy. They supply instructions (which are simple enough) and everything required. You make your finger bleed and collect a little of the blood in a small tube. Quantities required for analysis are small. Pop it in the post and wait for the results.
These tests are sometimes themselves less expensive than alternatives.

Really??????? So they don't need much blood then? Is it really as accurate as going to the hospital and being punctured by a woman in a uniform? I am amazed, does anyone have any links?
Thank you Rod
Here's the link for Blue Horizon's home blood tests, Helen:
I tried the home blood test myself but was unable to draw enough blood for the test, but I know many people manage just fine with it. BH were great when I couldn't draw enough blood and sent me to my local Spire Hospital at no further cost!
Funnily enough, I'm off to my local Spire this morning for a follow-up test.
