Another blood test

I had a blood test last week for my underactive thyroid. Now gp wants to do a blood test again. Any idea why? I assume something is not right.

Probably your TSH has crept above the magic 5.0 mark and he's hoping if he does the test again it will be just below so he can tell you everything is alright. Just guessing.

He wants to double check. Get your next blood test at the earliest possible as your TSH will be highest then.

I'm going in tomorrow morning but I normally take my tablets every night. Is it going to make a difference?

Rhetty, skip your nighttime dose and take it after your blood test.
