High TSH but normal T3, T4

Hi,

I have high TSH but normal T3, T4.

TSH is 6.6

T3 2.48

T4 1.1

My doctor didn't prescribe any medication and wants to run the tests again in few months.

I had a mild fever when these tests were done. Could TSH be affected because of that ? Could this be due to poor diet ? May be something else ?

Is there anything I could do like eating right food etc.

The results for T3 and T4 make it appear that you might not be in the UK.

Are you able to supply:

The units that the results are in;

The reference ranges;

Clarification as to whether that T3 is Total or Free?
