Becs, I can't read those results even tipping the screen on it's side. Can you edit the scan and repost it.
Tsh 0.9 (0.4-5.0). Free t4 15 (9-19). T3 3.6 (2.6-5.7). . Vit d 109 (25-50) very high lol so presume that's good ! Vit b 506 (189-883) folate 8.2(4.8-19.0 ) . Ferritin 35 (5 - 204 ) . Serum iron 14.4(7-26). Sodium 139 (133-146) serum albium 35 (35-50) serum potassium 5.0 (3.5-5.3) serium globulin 37 (20-35) thinks kidney related as dodgy kidneys serium reactive protien level 14 (under 10) again maybe kidneys link
sorry didn't see this - thanks for clarifying
however I'm not much help with these - except FT3 could be a bit higher - not sure what medication you're on 'tho
and I suspect you're not in UK by Vit D measure (usually nmol/l here not ng/ml - just x 2.5) just to note it is possible to overdose (if on high supplements never on sunshine!) but it's more likely to be low magnesium/K2. J
I can see your results clearly but I can't see vitamins B12, Vit D?
just Irons, proteins, electrolytes...
serum Iron 14 (7-26)
Creatinine 'abnormal' - are you supplementing?
Something going on with proteins? CRP indicator of inflammation...
Even the lab is confused - comment at the bottom re 'iron deficiency but iron overload' ???
Becs, TSH is good, FT4 ok and FT3 a bit low. There is room for a slight increase in Levothyroxine which would boost FT4 and FT3 but it's also possible that your T3 is low because you aren't converting well because of your kidney problems.
VitD is good and in the optimal range 75-200*. B12's good. Folate could be higher but isn't bad. Ferritin is a bit low. Optimal ferritin is 70-90. Check with your doctor before supplementing iron as I don't know whether or not it interferes with kidney function. I don't know about the others.
* UK range nmol/L
Hi clutter thanks he said to double up on my iron for a bit as over counter stuff but going to check with kidney doc before I do tommorow . Was quite surprised with vit results as I'm suffering bad fatigue again horrendous brain fog and headaches ! And with bloods ok really part from t3 cud be higher he's keeping Levo as is on 150 as all in range so thinking of a wee bit of t3 or swapping to ndt ??
Becs, a little T3 would probably be beneficial. T4 is usually reduced by 50mcg for every 20mcg added in. Check that with your kidney doctor too.
