Hi - sorry for the very short notice - but I've just noticed that a TV prog that I saw about 6 months ago is being repeated in the early hours of tomorrow morning (01:45 - 02:45) on BBC4 called:

THE FANTASTICAL WORLD OF HORMONES with Prof John Wass

It really is a fascinating insight into how hormones were discovered - incl a brief section on the Thyroid.

The programme ends with Prof Wass saying something along the lines that there is still so much unknown about the hormonal system - we are just at the very beginning of our understanding (I feel if only Endocronologists would take that on board!!!!)

Previously it hasn't been available on i-player - so record if you all can!!!
