Yet another query.........

I am currently supplementing B12 2000mcg per day (Solgar sublingual methylcobalamin), but someone posted that it would be sensible to also take folate alongside this as the two work together.

I also want to try Mega-Mag magnesium drops to see if this helps.

My query is:

Should I take all three supplements, or is it too many to try out in one hit?

Twitchen, If your folate was low it's a good idea to supplement methylfolate with methylcobalamin. After correcting my folate deficiency I now supplement methylcobalamin only. I'm not honestly sure whether it is the correct thing to do but that's what I'm doing :)

No reason not to take magnesium with the other two but introducing them 2 weeks apart does let you know which supplement, if any, may be causing a problem.

Thanks Clutter,

I have decided to leave the folate supplement for the time being as my last blood test showed it to be 10.8, which I think it is quite good.

I have ordered the Mega Mag magnesium drops and so will give them a try and see what happens.
