Well done. I can't believe that you are feeling better, your results are 'in range' yet he wants you to decrease meds! What is the matter with them! Are they completely heartless? Why do I ask that? Of course they are!

lol no, they learnt it in the school to track just TSH :) and majority of people are on doses up to 75.....all above 100 is considered too much for people who have thyroid :) its like a stone age mantra

Both Dr Lowe and Dr Skinner said that nowadays our medications are far too low. That's so the Medical Profession keep our TSH 'within range' (considering it's from the pituitary gland and varies throughout the day) therefore, many are also taking other medications to control clinical symptoms instead of giving adequate medication - money would be saved - patients would feel well and best of all prevent us developing other more serious diseases.

Well done, Audrey. Beggars belief that your GP wants to reduce the dose you feel better on when it's still in range :o

How did you increase them yourself tho? I would run out of tablets if I did that. I feel I need an increase as TSH 0.4 ATM and I feel best at 0.06. I'm within range tho so dr won't increase.

Just say you lost your tablets and ask for another prescription - I am forever loosing mine for real so have had to do that! They won't refuse it is life sustaining medication hypo brain fog has one good point at last!
