You've tested positive - very positive - for antibodies. That means you have Hashimoto's. There don't appear to be any other results there - have other blood tests been done separately?

Hi Vivsavage, as LilyMay says, you are very positive for Hashimoto's which will be the cause of your hypothyroidism. Might be an idea to check out information on gluten-free diet as many members say it helps reduce the antibodies.

How do you feel? Are you symptomatic of being hypo?

Viv, use the yellow Reply button underneath the post you are responding to and the member will get an email alert that you have replied.

Your FT4 is high which is why your GP has reduced your meds. If you've felt hyper and anxious this will improve as the excess clears your system.

Looks like you were headed that way, but you aren't hyper unless FT4 and FT3 are over. Are you feeling less than great on the reduction?
