I am concerned what could it be that i have???
Hi there i am recently diagnosed with subclinic... - Thyroid UK
Hi there i am recently diagnosed with subclinical hypothyrodism and .but i have recently discover unilateral greenish nipple discharge.???
Depending on your age, it could be duct ectasia which tends to affect women approaching the menopause. The milk ducts behind the nipple get shorter and wider and can produce a brown or green discharge. It is a normal, age-related change and nothing to worry about. However I think it's better to have your GP check it out to be sure.
Have you had a test for excess prolactin? (Pituitary problem)
After the birth of my first child (Aged 27) and after finishing breast feeding, I had a crusting discharge (sorry, TMI, I know). I didn't worry about it, but hearing of that, plus the carpal tunnel syndrome that had no normal cause, I visited a gynae and he suggested I have a thyroid test. So it could be related. Hope you have an appointment now and have it looked into. Could possibly be Paget's disease of the nipple.
