I know people have often recommended that I or another member change their GP, now unfortunately my options are limited where I live, but I thought a link to this page might be useful for those who have other GP's in their area

There is also useful advice on the page about you not having to give any reason, and how to speed things up.

Options are very limited in my area as well. I read this article last year but unfortunately other surgeries still refused to take me on on the basis that there were other surgeries more local to me. I only have a choice of about three anyway and the one who wouldn't take me on are only five minutes more away from me. I complained to PALS and they weren't any help either. I treat myself and look myself as no GP are interested.
