Im not eating much as am not hungry which is very unlike me but am sleeping ok so just wondering if how I am feeling is normal or not thank you xx

I had a TT in March and it took 10-14 days to recover from the anaesthetic. It takes up to 6weeks for the anaesthetic gases to be fully metabolised by your body. Try to have a short rest in the afternoon and not subject yourself to anything stressful to allow your body to recover.

Hope all goes well.

It is normal to feel like that ShellnPride. In addition to the anaesthetic still in your system, massive healing has started in your body so you need plenty of rest and plenty of fluids to flush your system.

Hiya,

I had my right thyroid lobe removed on 28th February 2013 to remove thyroid cancer and I've never been right since. Everyone is different but my surgeon hoped that the left side of my thyroid would compensate and make my thyroid hormones but it has not and I have hypothyroidism and various other complications. I felt shattered after my surgery with a painful scar, headaches, brain fog and all the hypothyroid symptoms within a few days ans after 4 weeks I was a walking zombie sleeping 12 hours a day and needing a nap in the afternoon. I've been taking Levothyroxine since but symptoms have not improved much even when my dosage has gradually increased to 150mcg and 125mcg on alternate days. I started on 10mcg of Liothyronine with 100 mcg Levothyroxine 2 months ago and I feel just as bad. I don't think my dosage of Liothyronine is right yet but I don't see my endo until early June so I have to plod on until then. Hopefully, you will be fine but if you need someone to talk to then don't hesitate to PM.

Good luck x.
