It depends where you are. Round here some of the local NHS ultrasonographers offer a private service as well. You might do best searching in your local area - even using some of the geographically based advertising approaches.

If you go to the website of your nearest hospital they should show you what deparments they have and then ultrasound should offer the thyroid as an option, however you would need a referral from your GP for the NHS hospitals.

I used thisismy in Leeds, they are also in Liverpool, Manchester and Hull. They did my scan for £120 wrote a report and gave me pictures showing severe atrophy, I have High TPO antibodies!
