I think you may be undertreated with thyroid gland hormones. If you've not had a recent blood test request one and if you haven't had a vitamin B12, Vit D, iron, ferritin and folate tested ask for these to be done too. Get a print-out of your blood tests, with the ranges and post on a new question.

Puffiness is a clinical symptom of hypothyroidism.

Well, last bloods and vitamins I had all came back OK, tempted to try NDT but don't feel brave enough!

Your blood results might be OK for the doctor but not for you. Get a copy and put it on this site.

Iv`e had a really puffy face first thing in the morning for about two years and lots of other symptoms which point to thyroid problems. My GP insists that my readings are normal but what can you do? (nothing). I have now started to take Kelp seaweed, a fiend recommended I give it a try, I have nothing to lose and if it begins to make me feel better I will certainly let everyone know. keeping my fingers crossed.
