Getting my adrenals tip top

What should I do to get my adrenals tip top and give me the energy I need to last through out the day and not want to fall asleep at mid afternoon?

Hello - First of all I would get your adrenal function measured, usually with a spit test - delightful - I did it recently under Dr Owen from Winchester _ I haven't got the results yet as I don't see him until May 12th. But that way you would be able to see where you are now. He put me on Nutri Adrenal Glandular and Nutri Adrenomax . Also I would get Dr Peatfields book, lots of good advice in there XX

Hi This could well be under treated thyroid. Most Endos etc say to get the thyroid right first, TSH, T4 and Free T3, print out. Then a specific 24 hour test, if needed for cortisone, adrenals. 24 hour urine collection , cortisone tablet, script at midnight then a blood test at 9am. My Endo says that the only reliable test. Years ago when I first saw a private doc for thyroid, he wanted to put me straight on Cortisone. I left him! Subsequently found my heart could not tolerate any cortisone, even for a joint injection.
