Yes - two people in my family. Does any of this seem familiar?

Yeah they're the symptoms we all have regardless of the illness name! Lol
I'm not sure what you mean by that. Sometimes thyroid illness is a symptom too - in the case of this list it's a symptom of biotoxin illness which affects a HUGE number of people, and not to be disregarded lightly. Jane x
What's biotoxin illness jane? I've never heard of it....
....and neither had I 18 months ago. It is also known as Chronic Inflammatory Response Syndrome, and can affect every system in the body and cause a multitude of symptoms as set out in the link I posted earlier. It can have a devastating effect on the pituitary - hence the endocrine and in particular thyroid issues. It is caused by the toxins from various moulds, chronic viruses, Lyme Disease and possibly others as yet undiscovered. The bad news is that it is a killer - the good news is it can be treated. Jane
This is your little baby isn't it jane? I don't have lymes. I keep thinking of having a toxin test though.....
Have you had a test for Lyme Disease - if so which one? The UK test used by NHS isn't reliable, and also you would need the correct toxin tests if you want to take that route. It isn't a toxin allergy test.
No I've not been tested but I've never thought I've been infected jane. Never had any signs. What toxin tests are regarded as the most affective then...?
I think this is low b vits. Not got a shiny red tongue and splits at corner of mouth sometimes have you?
I believe lots of things can cause these symptoms. For me, the root cause was low thyroid hormone levels. Of course, the knock on effect of the hormone imbalance can mean vitamin deficiencies, adrenal insufficiency, candida and other infections that may need antifungals / antibiotics etc.
Yes, mine went away after i had my mercury fillings removed
I get this when on iron
Hi Si, I don't experience it myself but Dr S says in his book that sometimes patients report their food tasting metallic when hypothyroid and it should go when properly replaced.x
yes i do.dont know what the cause is guessing its hypothyroid .had symptoms since august following gallbladder op.use mouthwashes.
there's quite a few reports of this (a search shows the problem reported on other forums too) one is if you've got a whitish tongue could be candida, others say gluten intolerant, some say too much (or too little iron), zinc etc. (and inadequate Thyroid replacement too?). Chances are when on supplements maybe it puts other things out of balance?
I'd just like to taste/smell something! J
We'll maybe I've just gone out of balance with something then. I am taking a lot of sups nowadays. I'm not feeling any worse in general though. Odd!
I get this when I'm pregnant
