just got back from drs not entirely successful appointment.asked if I could have Op for CTS said could have an injection.said about right ear and not being able to hear tv despite being on full volume and just said after looking everything was normal.dont know how he can see when ears are full of wax and it could be further in?he said did I get his letter.said yes and where I had written comments on it -he said he couldn't read them as I had scrawled all over it-more like he didn't want to. his reason fro stomach going from IBS which i have not got or ever had- to "ive seen lost of older people with this"- and not accepting that im talking about over 11 kgs(2 stone?)and taht it is increasing and rock hard.it s still like he wont accept anything I tell him.refused to refer me to a dermatologist for skin rashes and refused to look at the thyroid symptoms list etc or your email or acknowledge what the hospital drs said(swollen lip/and skin rashes) or accept my neck was swollen etc.put pelvic pain down to fibro which it could be but doesn't tell me why its so painful when tried to do a smear test,.if so painful inside then has to be something there.and have had fro over a year -same as cough??

he didnt get my point about ca125 having different results from 2 different places for the same time period.

have appointment in next 2 weeks for injection .try and get him to accept symptoms are something to be concerned about or wait til see rheumy on 15th or see the dr Houghton(female) I saw recently who said to go back if still think its thyroid.

don't see how he can still dismiss things and not linking them to other illnesses

cos he doesnt know about them -only a specialist would know about fibro/lupus.sjogrens/thyroid etc.putting everything down to fibro still.

Forgive my ignorance, but what is CTS?

Personal question but do you have a prolapse of womb and or bladder? That could explain a lot.Surely you cannot have all the illnesses that you have been researching tho it is suprising how many symptoms match to so many illnesses.IMHO if we look too much we can all find at least 10 serious illnesses we think we have,3 of which will be terminal !! Hope you get some relief from your worries soon.

hi cupi

cts is carpal tunnel syndrome .I am not saying I have them all.but I have the symptoms which could be any of them and it is NOT that I am researching by searching on the internet it is from sharing experiences etc from my forum friends who have exactly the same symptoms and experiences as me-including misdiagnoses.when I have been treated by gp for months fro nasal sores /swelling and treatment didnt work only gave temporary relief and referral to ENT where I told him exactly that and all i got back was "its not sinuses" yet another forum member who experienced exactly the same as this got told it was either lupus or sjogrens.same with lupus -I have skin .facial and scalp rashes + nasal sores are symptoms of lupus.

weight loss (so far not accepted by gp) is a thyroid symptom-and it is not persistent weight loss but on 3 sudden occasions.as is skin(leg) rashes and eyebrow hair loss .no one has acknowledged leg swelling

I just want to know what is causing everything .dr's are dismissing symptoms cos they only rely on blood tests
