I have two nodules on my left thyroid doc did biop

What are nodules and will It make my thyroid produce more or not enough I'm not sure what they mean by nodules

Nodules are growths. Are you awaiting results of biopsy? Biopsies are done to determine if its cysts or not.

What type of biopsy did you have done?

I'm not even sure if it was a biop but she inserted needle into the nodule and drew of liquad I didn't see much as I had my eyes shut it piggin hurt
