what a complete waste of time.dismissed as usual.just read that doctors no longer consider a persons symptoms they only take blood results into account.yet again symptoms dismissed because they said bloods are normal

Hi You need to start again. if convinced thyroid, make sure you have a TSh, T4 and Free t3 test, check, suspect not only TSH, FT3 and T4 vial too You can use on line but use a well known lab if you want a doc to act on it.. Also then find a better Endo careful research, lot more than just thyroid involved re tests etc. then ask for a new referral, different hospital too. When found one ,before this phone the consultants sec and ask about treatment etc, especially in relationship to T3. Endo`s at certain hospitals, will never consider or treatr with it. Most important.

Yes, exactly what happened to me, and will be happening to everyone, despite their symptoms....therefore we are on our own to experiment with kelp,hormone stimulants etc.....because even with willing medics they cannot know YOUR body. Skaewala

Have you got a print out of your results? I have found personally that self-treating with advice from patient advocacy websites such as this is slowly slowly leading me to better health. I feel that it's necessary (unfortunately) to use Drs Endos etc for what you can (eg blood tests, referrals) but recognise that their training generally is very limited and they work under an accepted culture of arrogance. If you put your faith in them or expect to be healed by them you are likely to be disappointed. This is my very jaded two cents worth.
