Hi just got some blood results back from the docs and wondered if these were o b12 258 and the range is 106 -900 Ferritin is 50 range 6-102

Your B12 is way to low as it needs to be approx 600 - 700 for thyroid meds to work properly and your ferritin needs to be about 70 - 90.

Hi! Sorry to butt in - I am having similar troubles - just wondered if you can share a link to an 'official' study that states the higher level of B12 etc., required to utilise replacement T3/4 please? My B12 is 464 (180-900) so deemed perfectly safe and adequate, but I know it is falling weekly. I was given extra last year when it got to 172, which helped it up to 800-ish last August, but it's dropping again so I need to address this. I am due an Endo visit tomorrow so would like the 'scientific proof' if possible before I go! Thanks again, and sorry to butt in! J.
