On Armour...Low temp but faster pulse each day

Hi

I am now up to 3 grains per day. Still shattered but temp seems to be back down in 35's although pulse creeping up to 80 ish (varies from 78-82).

Is this ok?

What is a safe pulse rate. No other symptoms like tremors. Just quite a strong heartbeat couple hrs after taking armour.

Any advice appreciated.

I am sure there will be others with more knowledge than me. I am on 3 grains of Armour after a very slow increase. My heart rate is about the same as yours and is faster and stronger about 3 hours after taking it . Have been told its the T3. I have found it helps a little to split the dose up. My temp took a very long time to increase and is still only 36.2.

Debs nice to know that sometimes your pulse just doesn't get up to 37. Do you feel we'll at the moment?

Dr Skinner was not concerned about my temp as it was 34.5 originally. I have read somewhere that it does not always recover completely and as Jackie says below I guess people naturally have different temperatures. I would not say I was well but I am very much better than I was (it is a long story of mismanagement post TT). I have found that my pulse shoots up after any increase in dose then settles slowly but tends to be 78-84 most of the time now. I also see an NHS endo who was not worried about my pulse at this rate.

Hi I am on armour but originally a I was overdosed by a private doc, Had the same symptoms when Hypo and hyper, normally of course Hypo. This can happen but unusual, As you are taking T3, that could certainly account for the pulse, if too much for you. I would have a blood test pronto, Blue Horizon? TSH, T4 and essential FT3. Do not go through a private hospital. Quote TUK 10 for a discount. They have a finger prick test, main site, not really a normal one as you collect blood via a finger, completely reliable, well tested etc.

You could also try splitting the dose., as we do with T3, over some hours. My temp is always very low, never went up when I had my thyroid stable, as it is now too. It is possible to have a naturally low temp. Mine is 35.4, has been all my long life.

Hi again, Just saw the end of question. If pulse is manually taken, only way reliable, it should be sitting or lying, after 10 mins. Then would expect it to be under 80 but it does vary a little throughout the day.

Hi Jackie

Yes I do split them and lie for ten mins at least before pulse or temp taken.

I am splitting them up a bit more today so will see I that helps. Actually yesterday and today pulse just been high 70's and not touched the 80's so maybe things just settling a bit.

Thanks
