Sad to my heart

Only today did I find out about the of the death of Dr Gordon Skinner. This good man gave me back my life. I am so ashamed to say I didn't ever thank him properly. My heart felt sympathy to his loved ones. Words fail me.

It's such sad sad news i'm glad to hear that he helped you get better. Although I have only seen him twice, he was a lovely man and gave me a hug when I was feeling low. I am so thankful to him for diagnosing me, and getting to the bottom of my problems which I have suffering with from early childhood. He has given me a light and hope for the future, where no other doctor would.Sending condolences to his family and staff. xxx

Yes, it came as a big shock as those of us who have met him, he seemed strong and fit. Our condolences go out to his family and he will be sadly missed by many people, especially patients who he assisted back to good health.

He had so much pressure to deal with the GMC. It had to take some toll on him but he didn't give in to them.

Yes the pressure did not help his health, but he kept on going DR we will never forget. GMC . now wont worry that is patients wont know where to go or what to do but will they care will they hell.

What they don't think/care about is that many people will be left to self medicate. Such sad news about Dr Skinner wish there were more people out there to help people who don't fit the narrow criteria for diagnosis.
