How can he go from boarerline under active to off the scale on meds.?? Really confused

What was borderline underactive? The TSH? What were the results and reference ranges?

A muscle enzyme result off the scale? Not the original thyroid test?

100mcgs levothyroxine is not a starting dose. People with a very high TSH are sometimes started on a high dose like this. Sorry, what is a muscle enzyme test?

Muscle enzyme was to check for any damage from previous stations and to check for muscle disease conditions but they are fine .

Hi husbands tsh have been 129 last ones off the scale has been duped to 150 levytyroxine now, blood test 4 weeks' also referred to a muscle specialist too so its wait and see I think .

a tsh of 129 is not borderline hypo thats proper fullblown thyroid shutdown if his results are border line now whilst on 100mcg that would make sense with a starting tsh of 129. Muscle problems are linked to hypo so hopefully this will resolve or improved when on a good dose of levo

Husband is no better on 150 of Levi so go has referred him to a muscular skelotal specialist now has his repeat bloods a week on Monday so will see what they are so frustrating for him at the moment :- (
