freezing

i got a jumper and 2 cardi's on and still froze......my 8 year old son has just had a bath and is sat in his pants

not sure if thyroid or going down with something as not been warm for a few days now

Hey there,

I usually feel like this when I am undermedicated! Have you taken your temperature first thing before you get out of bed? This should give you a good idea of your base rate...do it over a fortnight. You could also track it at different times throughout the day...that will tell you if it is fluctuating badly rather than maintaining a core temperature..some minor fluctuation is normal but big swings and failing to ever reach a normal temperature is usually a sign of adrenal/thyroid problems. There is probably more info on this if you check! Good luck - hope you warm up soon.

Today i was terribly cold(put fleece cardy on plus a fleece blanket!) for couple of hours after being out in cold.The weather has got colder in past few days..i do wonder how i going to cope when it gets even colder.For me,i know its down to my hypo,but also around my period(now)i get colder and do take extra iron as think its also a deficiency of that too.But i have low temperature;esp ,as said ,around period,so its def thyroid/adrenals.Think we need time to adjust to colder weather(i hope!)
