I have been off work for 7 weeks as have hashimotos and gone hyper and feel really ill.Has anyone else been off work?

I have had fluctuating results since the brand change in Eltoxin. I have been assured that the Mercury Pharma brand is the same content but all I know is that my health is not stable since the change from Goldshield.

Yes - almost 6 months (hypo). I went back at the beginning of September on a phased return. I work in a college and it's like a madhouse at the start of the academic year so it was a bit of a nightmare. Luckily they carried my accrued annual leave forward (our holidays go from September to August) which means I can take a day off to rest if I feel I'm running out of batteries. I've had to learn (the hard way) to listen to my body and rest properly when it tells me I need to. You really must take care not to try and rush your recovery as you'll end up feeling worse. It's a very difficult illness to deal with as it's largely invisible but this site is invaluable.

Hi Suziebow... I have had this happened to me and I also thought that it was because I'd gone hyper also but fact is i was overdosed. I'd venture to tell that the same thing g has happened to you... I cut back on my Eltroxin or levothyroxine from 100mcg that I'd been on for years to half.. that is, .50mcg. I felt better with half the dosage and I then lowered it down to .25 mcg. Even better... Goid luck....
