Does anyone know where u can get a private Acth test close to Lancs or Yorkshire.

Hi Have you looked on Blue Horizon site, main site?. Do not go through a private hospital, finger prick or venous blood. All by post.

However If , as I suspect that is for cortisone,my good Endo says the only test any use is 24 hour urine collection with a cortisone tablet at midnight, script, and a blood test at 9 am. As you can see , this is not possible for DIY.

B.H do do all the NHS tests and many more, also some are better.

I have had the 24hr urine test but my Gp wont do any more tests so going to see Dr,P soon,

That is dreadful. I expect GP out of their depths, as usual!

Have you found a good Endo to see?There are a few about, may be you need it all looking at.
