A big 'thank you' to those who came and I definitely found it really interesting listening to others' experiences. Huge amount of knowledge was shared and much scribbling took place.
Do hope to see you all again and keep your eyes peeled for the next one, area yet to be decided but want to ensure that others can attend.
A big thanks to you too, cinnamon-girl, for organising it. I had a great time and couldn't believe we'd spent nearly 4 hours chatting - I was exhausted by the time I got home! It was wonderful to meet such warm, caring, friendly, understanding people and I learnt a lot. I had dithered about going as I woke up feeling pretty rough but I'm so glad I did.
It has made me even more resolved to get a group going in the Reading area so I'll be contacting those who have already expressed an interest again and if anyone else is interested could you please send me a private message letting me know roughly where you live and how far you'd be happy to travel so I can pick out a venue that's convenient to all or most of us.
Thank you Cinnamon for organising this meeting which I found very useful. It was reassuring to meet other courageous people with similar stories and learn from each other. I no longer feel alone coping with the condition. Hope we can meet again in the future. kbm13
