If you are asking about the standard antibody tests uses to help decide if you have Hashimoto's, then they are:

Thyroglobulin antibodies

Thyroid peroxidase antibodies

There are various ways of writing them such as TPOab and TGab - somewhat inconsistently used.

Other antibodies can be important in, for example, Graves', so I might not have answered your question.

Hi, thx for ur reply rod. I,be had the thyroid function test, serum tsh, serum free t4, serum free triiodothyronine tests done n all within normal range but gp say the antibodies been done within these tests is that correct? Don't know where to go from here! Thx

What you have to do is ask the surgery for a print-out of your blood test results, complete with the ranges, and post on a new question for members to comment.
