Your results show overmedication, you may feel well now but it will most likely catch up with you. I was overmedicated for several years and felt fine then bang I was in trouble big time and long term it has affected my heart.

Do you mean you are in crisis due to the high dose you are/were on ? I never got that bad but it took me almost 2 years to sort my dose and level out. Hopefully your GP is looking after you now. I know a lot of people worship Dr S but he does seem to have people on high doses and just lately there have been several like yourself that have become very unwell.

I hope you get over this soon, all the best.

Wow . Thanks for that .

My gp says I've gone up too early. He's put me down to 150 with another blood test in 2 weeks . I see my specialist in October aswell . After what you've said think I will follow his advice . Thanks

Hi Sianne thats interesting but so dam confusing.l replied to your last post re my visit to Dr S. Looks like two schools of thought...what to do. I might stay at 175 for now...it obviously takes months to fully get into the system as mention in Dr S notes...lm still not feeling good after seven weeks since my appoint with Dr S.Be interested in how you get on and look forward to hearing xx

Hi again Siannie...l listened to my GP for years and was told like many others...normal no action..my ths was around 9.5 and was told review in three months...most GPs dont know enough on how to treat this...lve been hypo for 13 years and only now have taken this into my own hands now that l understand this a little more thanks to this site. interesting to see what Dr S says...good luck xx

Hi elspeth .

Thanks for your comments.

It's interesting that dr s increased your meds as well. I'm sorry you are not feeling better tho, I felt instantly better as soon as my meds were increased.

I'm concerned now incase I am over and have been reading up that bring over can cause heart probs and osteoporosis

Hi Siannie...its so bad that we have to try to work this out for ourselves.lts true that it can weaken the bones...l was border line osteoporosis but with calcium and excercise l went back into the normal range. But do you have stronger bones and be more hypo or be less hypo with perhaps weaker bones...its a trade off...as with most drugs. lts a fine line l think and we have to decide...lm in Tuscany had a great night off to Chianti tomorrow...thankfully l seem to sleep on holiday...fingers crossed.great to compare notes...keep posting...always interested xxxx
