Kaula, have you been diagnosed with a thyroid problem? It is known that thyroid inbalance can cause problems conceiving.

You really need to talk to your doctor about your concerns, because it is clearly upsetting you and making life miserable for you. Have you had thyroid tests? If you have, do please put your results on here, and I am sure you will get some very helpful suggestions, it is hard to comment without some more information about your health.

Take care

Hi kaula

I am giving two links re pregnancy. In the first one you cannot access the links within but it gives good info on the first two questions.

web.archive.org/web/2010112...

If you haven't had a recent thyroid gland blood test, get a new one from your GP, - TSH, T3, and T4 and get a copy of the results from your surgery(you are entitled to a print-out or copy but you must have the ranges too - these figures are in brackets) and post them on a new question so that members can comment.

I believe you are now hypothyroid due to your thyroidectomy as your GP has given you levothyroxine. How much levothyroxine do you take daily?

Do you feel well, in general, or do you have other clinical symptoms.
