Hi,

If you get a copy of your blood tests each time and keep for your own reference, make sure they have the reference ranges the labs use, as for some reason or other labs differ and it makes it easier for members to comment on them.

I will say that a reading of 3.14 for a TSH is too high and that the aim is to get your TSH below 1, or even lower if you still don't feel good.

Unfortunately, you have to read and learn as much as possible so that you know how to try to recover your health. Most GP's think that if your TSH is 'within the reference range' that you are fine. That's wrong.

This is a booklet from Amazon and if you read through it and draw your GP's attention to the appropiate point for you. Make a copy of the page and leave it with her.
