I am in Bristol and see an endo privately who prescribes Armour, but will only treat you for hypothyroidism if you results are outside of the reference ranges - please send me a PM if you would like more info.

I also wondered if you are aware that we have a Bristol support group who meet once a month in Knowle for a bit of a natter - please let me know if you you would be interested in coming.

hello and thanks for your reply.Wondering if you have heard of a Dr Karin Bradley from The University hospital in Bristol.. I am thinking of going private rather than wait 6 weeks.My daughter is 23 and has had initial blood test confirming TSH over 100 T4 of 4. She has started to take levo 50mcu for last week but feels worse and has an upset stomach all the time.She can't work, Dr has signed her off and Put her on waiting list forultrasound as she has a swelling in her neck..I am very worried as she has suddenly got so much worse,Thanks Val
