I'm taking Vit D. Blood test on Tuesday. Can I continue taking Vit D or do I have to stop for a period of time before the test?

I stopped taking mine for at least 3 days before testing.

Thanks for replying Pinklily. Much appreciated. Sorry for the delay in replying. I was away from home and had trouble accessing a network. :)

I was taking the high dose prescription D and they wanted two weeks after taking my last 50,000 i.u. before retesting.

Thanks Heloise. I'm only taking a low dose but have left off for a couple of days so hopefully that will be ok.

Vit D takes six weeks to build up, I don't know how long it takes to go down, two weeks sounds a bit short. Get the lab to write what amount of supplement you took and when you last took it on the form/computer.
