DEHYDRATION AND BRAIN FOG.......

...whilst having a 'surf ' in an attempt to ease my cough naturally - I came across rodale.com which had an article about brain fog and dehydration. Could drinking more water be a simple cure ? There has been quite a bit lately about brain fog on various threads and I am the first to admit that during colder weather drinking water is not such an attractive option. Easier for us bods in Crete.

I know that one size does not fit all - but 8 glasses a day are suggested. After all, our bodies are made up of so much water. Keeps the blood flowing too as it is less viscous - so that could be another supporting aspect in nourishing the brain.

Cheers everyone !....no wine tonight then !....x

Hi It is surprising all the things that do cause brain fog. Of course, all hormonal conditions, yes thyroid but diabetes just as bad. dehydration, reverse and too much fluid accumulated, (Ascites and Oedema) and lots of major illnesses.I find it the very worse symptoms, although not important medically. So frustrating too! That drink sounds nice but not suitable if have Diabetes.which of course as I say does also cause bad brain fog!Dehydration is often the cause of bad headaches as said.

Best wishes,

Jackie
