Is something going wrong?

After total thyroidectomy following cancer 7 years ago, I have been on 200mgs Levothyroxine and doing ok. Now I am tired all the time; feel weepy for no apparent reason and feel confused and muddled in my thinking. Any tips?

You need to get a new thyroid gland blood test and post the results on a new question complete with the ranges (figures in brackets). Also ask for a Vitamin D, Vit B12, iron, ferritin and folate as the first two are often deficient in hypo people.

You may need an increase.

Hi I had a TT also. I was on 125 Levo, and felt fine, then they put me down to 100 and I have been feeling dreadful! I had another blood test taken and they said its ok???? I just don't get any of it. Have you been fine all these years since your op? And has your medication gone up and down at times? Hope you soon feel better :-)

Hi, yes I have been ok on the whole. Once they got my TSH down, they have kept it at 200 and I've been fine. But not at the moment!
