How common is it to be missdiagnosed with IBS & Coeliac Disease

Hey carol the only way u get diagnosed with IBS is if they have tested you for cealic disease and ruled out other things like food intolerences, IBD and anything else thats causing you a problem thing is u should have a test done for fructose malabsorption and sibo just in case its them thats doing you in and see a dietician and go on the lowfodmap diet to see if that helps you but usually they put everything down to IBS so if your still struggling and not coping u have to go on and on at them until they listen hope this helps :) take care
