I apologise for the I delicacy but it is worrying me, I have been quite sore in the bottom and have checked. I haven't got the classic sign of grape clusters just its sore and kind of purple looking. Just wondering whether I could be right in thinking its the start of piles as I don't want to rush to the docs.for nothing. I do not bleed either at present. Again sorry for the I delicacy and frankness.

IBS C . Does anyone else have Piles.
Judging by your description it sounds like a prolapsed pile which sounds more alarming than it is. They are VERY painful and are caused by straining. It does need to be seen by a doc as it needs a prescribed ointment rather than an over counter. I get given xyloproct which you keep in the fridge. Applying something cold like frozen peas can help reduce the swelling as well
Thankyou. That may help as it is quite painful to sit down right now and I couldn't get an appt.at the docs til Wed. Sometimes with this IBS you don't whether your coming or going do you. Thanks again.
It is definitely a pain in the butt in more ways than one lol. I know it's easier said than done but its important not to strain as there not pleasant. Good luck hope the doc is useful. Keep us posted
Well, been to docs and it is indeed Piles, thrombosis at that. Have some cream and lactulose. Those two combined with fibrogel, it should work, I hope.
