After an initial prescription for BAM of Q.L. supply/licence problems meant I had to be prescribed Colesavalem. After some 4 years taking the drug my itching at nightime meant I sought to be 're-prescribed for QL.My question is twofold.1.Has anyone suggestions as to what goods to avoid?
2.In general terms are there any side effects currently being experienced?
My thanks,in anticipation.

You might find this video helpful...I did and found milk thistle very helpful! I was wanting to address the underlying cause rather than just mask symptoms long term .
It may not be the case for you but for me dairy will make me itch at night (it gets quite bad!). I actually swapped from Questran to Colesevalam and the itching stopped although I also stopped all dairy too.
Again thank you.I have to say that some 6 days back into Questran I have found the reverse to be the case, although the night time itching has substantially reduced it hasn't disappeared.Early days however. Will certainly note the dairy suggestions. As in my late 70's I hardly think that I have to concern myself,in dietary terms, with a reduced calcium intake.
