H Pylori Triple Therapy

Hello, I'm just wondering for those who tested positive for H pylori and finished the triple therapy if any relief was felt and if so when? I'm on day 10 and I am not sure of how I feel. I've been drinking atleast a cup of green tea a day and also eating yogurt and taking a probiotic pill here n there. I don't feel much relief and I'm beginning to worry.

Thank You very much for your response. I am now taking a probiotic capsule every morning and stopped the triple therapy on day 10. I feel a lot better but just a little bloating ftom the probio. Thank You again and I hope you are feeling better yourself.

Hi yes you will get bloating for a few days as it's sorting your gut out .it should settle down.i had good news today so am a happy bunny .I also have 20+ Manuka honey but can be a bit expensive but it's got antibacterial agents in it.

That is great to hear! it is refreshing to hear good news. I hope all is well. I heard of Manuka honey and I will surely look in to it. I am all for natural remedies lol! But Thank You so much for sharing your experience, it helped put my worrying to ease a little.

That's ok.glad you are getting sorted.i do get annoyed though when doctors just say it's probably IBS.they should actually listen to patients a bit more .would save a lot of doctors appointments.and yes natural products best where possible .have a good Xmas and stay well .any more tummy problems get them to sort it out.

Thank You so much. You do the same and I hope you have a Merry Christmas and a fresh healthy start for the New Year.

Hi,

Have you ever tried Mastic Gum? It seems that's the best natural remedy for h pylori.

Anyway kefir has more bacteria than yogurt if you want to give it a try.

You're Welcome. I'm taking Mastika at the moment. Although I'm not sure how effective yet.

You can buy kefir grains online and do your own kefir. It's better and cheaper than the store ones.

Not what you're looking for?
