a quick question to all the people who suffer from IBS. Is a yellow stool ever normal to happen once in a while? I don’t want to stress or worry about my stool changing into a color that I’m not really used to.

According to my gastro consultant in the uk they never worry about a yellow stool.

A yellow stool is sometimes a result of malabsorbtion. I have BAM bile acid malabsorbtion, and often have yellow stools. I don't feel well when this happens. I'm told that a low fat diet can help BAM. If you suffer from regular diarrhoea it's worth checking this out.
