LAXIDOL -HOW LONG BEFORE SYMPTONS STOP

I HAVE BEEN PUT ON LAXIDOL AND HAVE HAD THE SYMPTONS FOR A WEEK. BECAUSE I HAVE A RECTAL PROLAPSE AND LEAKING BLADDER THIS IS CAUSING PROBLEMS. I AM WONDERING HOW LONG IT IS BEFORE THE SOFT STOOLS AND LEAKING STOP. CAN ANYONE HELP PLEASE?

I am sorry to hear that you are going through this briarhillcat. I am also sorry that I don’t have any answers. I have a mucosal prolapse from the rectum and I have tried Laxido in the past, but I do not have your symptoms.

Have you contacted your doctor to ask for advice?

Thank you Jackie1612. This is a wonderful site. I am on here also because I have pernicious anaemia. It is very hard to see, or speak to a doctor here in Scotland. I have ulcerative colitis, so have had lots of problems. I have five different tablets and they all cause constipation. I shall try again, and I do have good doctors it is getting to see them. I am sorry for your mucosal prolapse, that must cause you trouble. Thank you for replying. Briarhill cat

thanks for your reply. My mother also had ulcerative colitis, that is tough. Yes I don’t know why, but all the tablets seem to cause constipation in one way or another. I hope you get to see the doctor

Thank you Jackie1612. So difficult to get to see a doctor. I have a rectal prolapse too, and leaking bladder. I hope your mother is coping OK, it is not easy. Take care.

Hi BriarhillcatJust a thought about the leaking bladder, if you're male, it may be associated with your prostrate, and medication can be prescribed to help with that.

No, I am female, Have had lots of trouble since I had my daughter, so the leaking bladder was fixed over 50 years ago, but it is back. Thank you for replying.
