Worrying

I suffer with IBS and have done now for more than 20 years it can be constipation or loose no weeks are the same no pattern to it at all but over the last few days the constipation has lasted most of the week I take a daily fibergel sometimes this helps other times it doesn’t my problem today is when I finally went there’s was lots of fresh blood on the paper not in the stool but on the paper I know I have piles/hemoroids can they burst

Sounds like hemorrhoids to me. Best to check with the doc though to be sure. Is this the first time you've experienced this?

I have had bleeding before but mainly after wiping this seemed to happen after passing hard bowel movements twice in an hour because I haven’t been got 4 days .. I only saw the consultant 2 weeks ago who was confident this is IbS but I have diverticulosis as well flare ups are horrible and definitely down to anxiety I asked about my hemoroids/piles he said use a barrier cream on them when sore this bleeding only lasted 5 mins but was upsetting

Similar problem to me. I use Sudocrem in large quantities and that eases it.

I had a similar situation last week, really scared me - best thing would be to check with your GP, but I can recommend Anusol wipes if it happens again, they're really helpful.

Be sure it's not any cancer by doing stool test if worried

Recent bowel cancer screening test done and clear but thanks for reply
