Ibs symptoms

I was told I had IBS 29 years ago after having an ultrasound. It all started just after I was diagnosed with thyroid problems. Not a day has gone by where my stomach doesn't bother me, it always feels as if full of wind, bloated, tight and I often have diarrhea especially in the mornings. Anyone else have these awful continuous symptoms?

I was diagnosed 17 years ago but I then realised I'd had it since being a child (57 now). My BM vary widely from constipation to several BM per day.Find I have more wind the older I get, constantly saying pardon 😆.

I use an enema attachment on my shower when I feel blocked up, really effective.

Those are typical symptoms of IBS. You may find my (xjrs) answer to the below post helpful:

I agree with xjrs - you can’t get a diagnosis of IBS from an ultrasound scan, and hyperthyroidism can give you diarrhoea. I think this needs to be investigated more thoroughly.
