Feel full?

I've been on Mebeverine forc for about a year now and I think it's marvellous! But I'd like to know if it makes you feel fuller quickly after eating?

Hi Sue32No it does not affect me that way. I have taken Mebeverine for 6 +years but only take as and when I know it's needed.

antispasmodics do slow down the digestive system and they delay gastric emptying (your stomach will empty food slower into your small intestine making you feel fuller) I know this as I had a gastric emptying test on Monday and you have to stop all antispasmodic meds like mebeverine because of the delay to gastric emptying.

I was on it years ago but it made me feel a lot worse, I didn't take it for long. I found I was better off dealing with it myself naturally.

Hi Sue no I don't feel bloated actually after I take my tablet 20 minutes before food I burb a lot of wind before I eat so it gets rid a lot of trapped wind.
