I came across Steph's packed lunch the other day whilst they were reviewing some results from a review that she had been supporting run by a company called Zoe. The results were shocking, there are so many people in this country dealing with bowel issues. The professor on the show Tim Spector who is involved with gut health was also shocked about what extremes people go through just to go to the toilet, even giving themselves an enema regularly.
Approx 174,000 people responded to the survey. Let's hope the information gained from it is used to help with IBS and other gut issues.

Gosh, that's a large number of people who replied to the survey, Sparrow. And for those, there must be equally as many who didn't even know about the survey or who are struggling alone.
I was surprised when a healthy-looking runner went by my house regularly, and one day stopped for a chat. It turned out that person was struggling with IBS too.
Then there is obviously someone else in my area who has it as I see evidence in some farm gateways, where they must have been caught short and had to go behind their car. And that has been going on for years now. I am sure it's the same person. I used to hate seeing that when I was IBS-free, but now my heart goes out to whoever it is. If there's one thing IBS has taught me it's have compassion and don't judge others because we don't know what they're going through
