Raynauds and constipation?

I have Raynaud`s which primarily affects the circulation in my hands. It`s been particularly bad this winter due to prolonged cold weather and trying not to have the heating too high.

My tendency to constipation has also been worse than usual and it occurred to me that there might be a link - ie possibly the blood vessels in the bowel might also be affected. I`d be interested to know if anyone else has noticed this

I have raynauds and have done most of my life but I have very loose bowel movements multiple times every single day so I don’t think it’s linked to constipation as my raynauds is really bad they tried me on medication but my blood pressure is very low so the meds were too dangerous but again it didn’t change my loose bowels.

Sorry I don’t think there is a link but maybe others will have similar to you.

I also have Raynaud's, but rarely if ever have constipation. I am more inclined to looseness, but I do have microscopic colitis. I suppose we are all different.

Hi janke, I have Raynauds, and like the other replies I have frequent bm's daily. So cannot connect Raynauds with constipation. Wishing you well.
