Aching limbs

Just a quickie, but I've been reading through the posts on here, and after having my recent flare up, noticed my limbs were very achy, and this does often happen to me, just hadn't connected that ibs may be part of the problem, curious to know if anyone has had similar symptoms?

funny you should say that.I’ve had a really bad flare up recently &my arms are now really achey, the same happened just before Christmas but I didn’t think about it being connected. Something to ponder.

Yea definitely be good to know what symptoms are related, with me I generally just feel achy legs, back even teeth. Just makes me feel like an old women 😪

I think you might be on to something. I also have an achey jaw! IBS has a lot to answer for 🙁

Hi Bishbashbosh23. I get achy arms and legs. They seem to get worse if I am going to have a bad IBS day. I went to the GP and they said they really did not know what it is, take paracetamol for the pain. I said it is not really pain it is like an achy tight feeling. It is really annoying.

Yes that's exactly how I get just achy heavy feeling, only thing that helps is a hot bath with some Epsom salts in it. Not painful just uncomfortable

When I was on the low FODMAP diet, I noticed I didn’t have my typical body/joint pain and stiffness, especially in the morning. I noticed this about a week into the diet. It’s something I wasn’t expecting or had even thought about. I’m not sure what the culprit food is, but I am suspicious of wheat.
