This is my first post, I have lived with Ibs for about 30 years, but generally can manage it fairly well. But one thing I often wonder is do other people find that if something is on your mind not necessarily worrying you, but just on your mind, do you think this can effect your ibs ?

Yes, even if I don't consciously feel anxious, my gut always knows better.
absolutely, anxiety plays a part however little it may be
Thank you, I guess I did kind of know that, but it's just annoying to think that when I think I'm dealing with a situation, my body obviously has other ideas 🫣 I also feel really achy, from back legs even teeth, feel like I'm falling apart ! is this also related or completely separate
affects everyone in different ways. I don’t get stomach cramps but I do get bloated at times, I also get a sore lower back which I put down to sitting on the toilet for a lengthy period. It’s hard to try and get someone with exact symptoms so you try to adjust things as best you can, but it’s very draining.
