I have started to have huge explosions, embarrassingly!
Anyone else had these since having Covid jabs please?

There's an older thread about this here:

It seems that some people get a sensitive gut after it. But some don't.
I had the original Covid in early 2020. During it my gut was good and I could eat what I liked ! (weird, but it was like a holiday from IBS !! I could eat lots of garlic and onion in broths and any food I liked) For weeks while recovering too. But that was a different strain to what we have now. And I am strange. I had felt so unwell with IBS before that, Covid was almost a relief!
Don't get me wrong. It wasn't really fun..I felt like I might die on a couple of nights when I had Covid from sheer weakness and other things . But my gut was happy as Larry.
But as soon as I saw that the vaccine was not stopping people....catching it, spreading it, getting sick from it, even on some occasions dying from it etc, I decided not to have the vaccine.
My concerns how I might react to the covid shot is one of the reasons I have been jab free and covid free since day one. I am curious to hear others experiences.
That's how I feel. I would hate it to make me worse
Life is about balancing risk. My Covid risk is low, my gut risk is high. My reaction to other medications etc has never been positive. It is a personal decision we all should make on our own. Sadly and thankfully in some ways we are all different and react to things differently. I know people that have had no reactions and people that have had terrible reactions. I simply have enough terrible days in my life already.
Yes, well said I think. What is okay for some isn't for others. My Covid risk is also extremely low even though I did get it 2 and 1/2 years ago. So not impossible but I am much more sensible about it now. But my gut is so sensitive and having it on a moderately even keel at the mo. bar a flare up occasionally, makes me not want to take any risk at all with it.
Likely not related as much of the stuff is conspiracy. Take charge of your health starts with rebuilding the gut. Try collagen. Other than that without knowing someone's health it's just a suggestion to try to get bile back normal. There are several ways to do this and you may respond differently. Research quality products as I doubt most people eat well enough.
The Covid and flu vaccines had no effect whatsoever on my IBS
Hello so sorry to hear this. I've had all of my jabs and been boosted this winter. Really grateful that it's free for all those ok ver a certain age. Gives all of us a better chance of f not contracting what can be nasty disease. Lally
I personally haven't reacted badly to any of the covid jabs but for a bit of a sore arm and maybe a bit out of sorts for one or two days
I had diarrohea following my covid jab. Not sure if it was the jab or the nerves of having a jab. Lasted only a couple of days thank goodness
I have had IBS after my first jab...
I presume youve completed/submitted an MHRA Yellow Card as all should?.
What is that?
You are definitely not alone. My whole digestive system was out of control after the Covid vaccine, Pfizer in my case. I could feel it affecting my stomach while I was doing the sitting after the injection. I also came out in rashes so had to sit for 30 minutes instead of 15 after the last injection. My body isn’t happy at all with the injections. Whilst I’m not happy with the situation this time I have not had the booster. Yes Covid can be dangerous but I also want some quality of life.
I had IBS and stomach problems before the Covid jabs, but the rashes were new. I do think my IBS and tum were worse the more jabs I had until nothing I did calmed it down. Things are still not back to what was normal for me.
Maybe it may have affected me then, although the explosions only started this June and not after e recent jab. So who knows? thank you , I hope things ease for you. I have spoken to the Dr and I now know there is an IBS specialist, she is going to get me an appointment with, hopefully. Good luck.
