IBS and auto immune disease Rheumatoid Arthritis

I heard that people with RA can be prone to IBS. Stress is my trigger but it could be the RA meds I'm on.. I use immoduim, peppermint oil and try to relax. A few months ago my GP ran tests and all came back clear. I've had it on and off for many years but just now it's pretty bad. Just started CBT for living with a long term illness RA and hope that it will be good for relaxation techniques and IBS. Anyone else have this combination and how do you cope?
