This pain all on the left side has been very bad this weekend and i still dont know if it is ibs related pain. Last weekend i had a few days holiday and it seemed ok with the odd pain, i had a ct scan on the 23rd august but not heard anything back yet from the gastronologist consultant who forwarded this for me and still very worried with what it can be. The pain in the left ribs is more painful when i turn my body in the car to check traffic at junctions and when im turning over in bed, my head is all emotionally mixed up as to what it is and for the last 9months now.

Could you not ask your GP to chase for you as it is causing you much anxiety
Yes I contacted them on Friday and they said the CT report hadn't been reported yet on his system.
I find ct results tend to take just over 2 weeks to get back to gp so as you had yours on 23rd August it should be back v soon. All the best...Mgt
Interesting that you say that the pain gets worse when you turn. Pain related to movement such as turning can be due to muscular strain. We also have lots of little ligaments in the body and when upset, these can sometimes take a while to heal. I'm not saying that's it, but it could be that. Good luck with the results.
Before I was diagnosed with IBS I got a lot of very strange aches and twinges all over my body. And now, although my IBS is fairly well under control, I still get them. Mine tend to come when lying down, and sometimes find it hard to settle. As others have said, if you feel concerned about it, please do seek professional advice. Good luck with it!
